The Beginning

Only one month to go till we leave … And I’m panicking. To think I’ve been planning this for almost three years and still managed to postpone all the important planning till now. Procrastination.

But at least we have our tickets. Frida has resigned from work. I’m finishing up everything in school. We have our African overland trip booked. We have Cayamo booked. We know we’re going to Becca in D.C. to spend a week there. We at least have an idea of what we’re going to do in Singapore, when we visit Frida’s family. We went and got our vaccines. We applied for visas to the United States and Australia. We made sure we cancelled our phone subscriptions. We sold stuff. We’ve made sure we can bring our instruments on the trip. And so on, and so on … Still lots to do though.

And since it’s only month left we thought we’d start using the blog. So: Hi everyone, we’re Catherine and Frida. We’re from Tyresö, Stockholm, Sweden. We’re heading out on a trip starting February 2nd and, if you let us, we’ll tell you all about it.
